My Background

Experience that helps me guide buyers and sellers with a calm, practical approach.

I am a retired United States Air Force veteran and REALTOR® serving buyers and sellers across the North Florida Panhandle. After retiring from the Air Force at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota, my wife and I eventually made the decision to relocate to Florida while I was continuing overseas contract work in Afghanistan.

Like many people moving into this region, we were looking for a different pace of life, warmer weather, and the ability to build a lifestyle that better matched what we valued long term.

That relocation experience helps shape the way I work with clients today. I understand that moving into a new area is not just about finding a house. It is about understanding the land, the community, the daily lifestyle, the practical details, and whether a property truly fits the way someone wants to live.

North Florida Perspective

Florida is not only beaches, crowds, and retirement communities.

One of the biggest misconceptions about Florida is that everything revolves around crowded beach communities and retirement areas. Much of the North Florida Panhandle is very different.

There are rural communities, farms, acreage, wooded property, and quieter areas where people can still enjoy space, privacy, and a slower pace of life while remaining within reach of the Gulf Coast and surrounding towns.

That balance is one of the things my wife and I appreciated most when choosing this area. We enjoy having access to the Gulf and the things we enjoy there, while still being able to return home to a quieter rural lifestyle with acreage, animals, gardening, and privacy.

Rural Property Insight

Firsthand experience with land, acreage, and rural living.

Today, my wife and I live on rural property in the Florida Panhandle with horses, goats, chickens, a garden, and acreage of our own. That lifestyle gives me firsthand perspective into many of the things buyers consider when evaluating rural homes and land throughout this region.

Rural property is different. Access, fencing, drainage, usable land, privacy, utilities, septic, wells, animals, maintenance, and long-term land use can all affect whether a property is the right fit.

I try to help buyers look beyond the listing photos and think through the practical details that can matter after closing.

Business Experience

Customer-focused experience before real estate.

Before moving into real estate, I owned and operated Valley Sawmills, working directly with customers across the country. That experience reinforced the importance of communication, patience, attention to detail, and helping people make informed decisions without pressure.

I enjoyed building my own business and helping customers solve practical problems. That same approach carries into real estate, where every client, property, and transaction deserves careful attention.

Military Relocation Professional

I hold the Military Relocation Professional (MRP) designation through the National Association of REALTORS® and bring firsthand military relocation experience to buyers moving into the North Florida Panhandle.

Having personally experienced military relocation, major life transitions, and the VA process firsthand, I understand many of the challenges military families and relocating buyers face when moving into a new area.

That experience is especially relevant for buyers considering Bay County, Tyndall Air Force Base, and surrounding Panhandle communities.

Based near Vernon, Florida, I work with buyers and sellers throughout the North Florida Panhandle.
